Members of the AOFPD spent the day in Argenta at the Safety Day. We had several units on display and cut up a car as a demo of what we do during a car accident.
About Us

The Argenta-Oreana Fire Department was formed in May of 1951.  We cover 74 sq miles in Macon County.  We operate out of two station's.  Station #1 is in Oreana and Station #2 is in Argenta.  We have 2 Squads, 1 Heavy Rescue, 1 Mini pumper/Rescue, 3 Engines, 2 Pump & Roll Engines & 1 (3500 gallon) Tanker.  We currently have 50 members.

The Argenta-Oreana Fire Department  provides 2 ALS (Advaced Life Support) Rescues to our communities.

We are Members of MABAS 46 & Macon County Fire Association & St Marys EMS System.
