Members of the AOFPD spent the day in Argenta at the Safety Day. We had several units on display and cut up a car as a demo of what we do during a car accident.

Engine 723
2007 Pierce International
Engine-723 is stationed out of station 2 and responds first out on all grass & field fires. It responds out third on all structure fires in the district. It is a pump and Roll with 1000 gallon tank and 30 gallon foam tank. It is set up with a remote control turret nozzel. It seats 2 firefighters and has 2-SCBA's setup in the cab.

2001 Pierce Contender
Engine-724 is stationed out of Station 2 and responds first out on all fires & car accidents in the district as well as first out on all mutual aid calls to Hickory Point, Maroa, Cisco & Cerro Gordo. It is equiped with full EMS equipment @ BLS level. It has a 1000 gallon tank. It carries 6 firefighters and has 5- SCBA jump seats.

Engine 726 is stationed out of Station #1 and is first out on all fires and car accidents in the district. It has a1250 pump,1250 Tank & 30 Gallon Foam Tank.

Engine-727 is stationed out of Station 1 and responds Second out on all fires in the district as well as first out on all mutual aid calls to Hickory Point, Maroa, Cisco & Cerro Gordo. Squad-729 is stationed out of station 2 and is used as a support unit. The Chiefs use it for County and MABAS-46 meetings or any other fire department obligations that arise. It respondes with the Chief on all mutual aid calls.

Tanker-728 is stationed out of station 2 and is the largest tanker in Macon County with 3500 gallons of water. It respondes 2nd out on all Structure fires in and out of District.
